The Cohen & Manafort Court Filings provide Mueller Evidence indicating Our President is alleged to be a Criminal…Those filings just came out, & despite much of the Mueller evidence still being kept hidden, what we can see is very damaging! The Southern District of NY is actually stating in a document that Trump ordered Cohen to commit a crime, which based on Mueller evidence that’s been gathered to corroborate, it involves campaign finance violations when Trump instructed Cohen to pay hush money to his mistresses. It was expressly done to influence the election! Folks, for the first time federal prosecutors are actually stating Trump committed a felony!!! The memos also are pointing at the Mueller evidence uncovering signs of obstruction, while Trump’s business interests in Moscow are pertinent to the collusion/conspiracy case. I quickly pulled off links to this breaking news:
I wish I had more time to provide more commentary & peruse the newsfeeds to post the best articles, but these memos just came out right before my deadline to turn my info into our blog manager, so she can post before the weekend. So come back Tuesday afternoon for our next scheduled blog posting to learn more. From what was just released, the Manafort filings are mostly heavily redacted or under seal, so the juicy parts from that we’re still in the dark. It was in the Cohen filings which we gleaned the most info today, which shows the President would be a prime target for indictment if he weren’t the President. But there’s a constitutional debate whether a president can or cannot be indicted, so that’s still a possibility. Otherwise, as we keep learning more of Trump’s potential crimes, it would be up to Congress to deal with the issue of impeachment. Also with Cohen, he’s left such a trail of criminal activity, it’s likely he’ll get a prison sentence of a few years rather than getting off scot-free. So hold onto your hats, since this scandal which I’ve said from the beginning would become the biggest political scandal in America’s history, it’s really starting to heat up!
Flynn Memo
In the Flynn sentencing memo from Tuesday, Mueller suggests no jail time, because Flynn had plenty to say & he said it early on, plus his cooperation prompted others to cooperate. Flynn’s contacts with the Russians were material to the investigation, meaning they were relevant to the Russian probe & possible collusion. The Mueller evidence memo also said “senior government leaders should be held to the highest standards,” which might be implicitly saying Trump & his family needs to be held accountable. There are also 3 separate ongoing federal investigations in the memo, one of which was totally redacted & could signal something very serious. After Flynn got fired nearly two years ago, he was lobbying for a plea deal by stating I’ve got a lot to say. Well, based on 19 separate meetings he had with special counsel’s office since apparently he did have lots to say! Keep in mind those thick/heavy black lines in the redacted memo were likely hiding the good parts. Someday we’ll probably get to see those.
