National Enquirer Head Confirms Trump’s Crimes that Cohen Testified to…I believe America will have a new president serving sometime in 2019. I originally thought that transition would happen a year earlier, but the wheels of justice need to run at their own pace. The news reports now raining down on Trump indicate it’s bad enough the prez has been implicated in criminal campaign finance fraud by Cohen & the boss of the National Enquirer, which should be impeachable by itself. But worse than that, he was more like a mob boss apparently running a large criminal enterprise. Between the various probes from Mueller, Congress & New York, it’s pointing towards numerous crimes which could soon be unveiled, including possible conspiracy, obstruction, money laundering, witness tampering, bribery, espionage, embezzlement, tax fraud, bank fraud, election fraud, charities fraud, emoluments violations, & perhaps treason. That’s a whole lot of legal jeopardy! Fully expect in the not-too-distant future, losing the presidency could be the least of Trump’s concerns. His business, his adult children & his own freedom are at stake.
We’ve been smelling the smoke for a couple years & now we’re starting to see the fires. Once the lid is blown off, we’re likely to see massive bonfires which spread like wildfires. The crimes may start coming to light at a furious pace, which Trump’s legitimacy as president would quickly crumble. We may hit that point of no return soon. There’s so many investigations going on now with real substance behind them, it’s hard to keep track of them all. As for the headlines just this week, there’s no doubt some of the crimes Cohen is going to prison for are crimes Trump is also guilty of. In addition to the two felonies already revealed over campaign finance violations, more details on what those other crimes are will surely come out. Cohen stated in his sentencing hearing his job was to cover up Trump’s dirty deeds, which we’re still to learn about most of them. From what we do know already, realize whenever Trump instructed Cohen to commit those hush-money crimes, Trump is also guilty of those same crimes. In an interview today, Cohen said Trump knew what they were doing was wrong, which shows intent to prosecutors. And Cohen said Trump knew of anything that was going on. Overall, the evidence of criminality is snowballing & coming at the prez from all directions.

U.S. District Court Judge William Pauley said Cohen’s “smorgasbord” of crimes, including the payments that prosecutors said were directed by Trump, highlight a level of “deception” and “sophistication” motivated by “personal greed.” Prosecutor Jeannie Rhee, a top aide to Mueller, signaled that Cohen’s assistance to the Russia investigation – and its examination of possible coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin – has yet to be fully revealed. Rhee told Pauley that Cohen provided “credible” and “valuable information” in support of the Russia inquiry. “Mr. Cohen has sought to tell us the truth,” Rhee said. Though neither Pauley nor Rhee mentioned Trump by name, Cohen brought the president directly into the courtroom Wednesday. “My own weakness was blind loyalty to the man that caused me to choose the path of darkness,” Cohen said. “Time and time again, I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds.”
Even before he arrived in federal court Wednesday, Cohen had fully cemented his role as an antagonist to the president – one equipped with lots of inside information. Cohen attorney Guy Petrillo indicated Wednesday that New York federal prosecutors gathered so much material on Cohen through “dozens and dozens” of witnesses and raids at his client’s residences and offices that there is little about him that they haven’t been able to document on their own. That information includes tape recordings of conversations with clients including Trump. “The special counsel’s investigation is of the utmost national significance, no less than seen 40-plus years ago in the days of Watergate,” Petrillo said. A recording in which Cohen and Trump discussed hush money payments to former Playboy model Karen McDougal was identified this year as one of the pieces of evidence seized by the FBI in a raid on Cohen’s offices in April. The payments to McDougal and porn star Stephanie Clifford, both of whom claimed affairs with the president, were the basis for campaign finance violations to which Cohen pleaded guilty. The owner of the National Enquirer, American Media Inc., admitted in a court filing Wednesday that the company paid off McDougal in August 2016 with $150,000 to squelch her account “so as to prevent it from influencing the election.” Prosecutors said Trump directed Cohen to make the payments, which would implicate the president in felony offenses. “I will continue to cooperate with the government, offering as much information as I truthfully possess,” Cohen said in court Wednesday. “My departure as a loyal soldier to the president bears a heavy price.”
Perhaps the most complete assistance Cohen provided to the government has been to Mueller’s Russia investigation. Rhee told Pauley on Wednesday that Cohen supplied “credible information about core Russia-related matters.” The prosecutor did not elaborate. Central to the Russia inquiry is the question of whether the Trump campaign coordinated with the Kremlin to influence the 2016 presidential election. Court documents filed by prosecutors before Cohen’s sentencing offered the fullest account of Trump’s political and business contacts with Russia. As early as November 2015, Cohen told Mueller’s team, he was in contact with a Russian national who claimed to be a “trusted” figure in the Russian government and who allegedly offered the campaign “synergy on a government level.” Trump announced his White House bid in June 2015. Prosecutors said Cohen had extensive discussions with Russians about a plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow and kept Trump and his family members briefed on the talks. At the time, Trump repeatedly denied any business interests in Russia on the campaign trail.
Cohen faced more legal trouble for lying about the plans when submitting written statements to Congress in August 2017, a charge Cohen pleaded guilty to last month. Prosecutors said Cohen lied to lawmakers to “minimize links” between Trump and Russia. Lanny Davis, an attorney for Cohen, told Bloomberg Radio that Cohen’s false testimony was shared with the White House prior to it being sent to Congress, leading to questions as to whether Trump personally knew that Cohen was preparing to lie. Last week, prosecutors said in court filings that “Cohen provided the (special counsel’s office) with useful information concerning certain discrete Russia-related matters core to its investigation that he obtained by virtue of his regular contact with (Trump Organization) executives during the campaign.” They said Cohen remained in contact with White House officials as recently as this year, even as he drew increasing scrutiny from prosecutors. Petrillo said Wednesday that Cohen offered Mueller “relevant knowledge in the investigation” despite knowing he would face “a barrage of attacks by the president.” He said Cohen “came forward to offer evidence against the most powerful person in our country” even though he didn’t know whether Trump could shut down the Mueller inquiry.

We knew that Michael Cohen had implicated President Trump in a felony. But on Wednesday, Cohen took things much, much further than that. Before he was handed a sentence of three years in prison, Trump’s former personal attorney gave a statement in which he described not just a president who was involved in the commission of a crime but one almost completely without a moral compass. Cohen compared working for Trump to “incarceration” and suggested it involved constantly covering up Trump’s “dirty deeds.” “Recently, the president tweeted a statement calling me weak,” Cohen said, according to CNN’s Shimon Prokupecz. “And it was correct, but for a much different reason than he was implying. It was because time and time again I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds.” Cohen invoked Trump repeatedly, including by name. He described his personal weakness as “blind loyalty to Donald Trump.”
Despite facing years in prison, Cohen said the sentencing represented his liberation, because he was rid of Trump. “Today is the day that I am getting my freedom back,” he said, according to Adam Klasfeld of Courthouse News. “I have been living in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real estate mogul whose business acumen … I deeply admired.” The fact that Cohen went down this road isn’t completely surprising. He rather publicly expressed a desire to atone for his misdeeds after initially pleading guilty to eight counts, including an illegal hush-money payment he and federal prosecutors in New York now say was directed by Trump (and that Trump himself covered up). It’s also undoubtedly a good strategy to suggest you were personally corrupted by someone else — rather than admitting you were a rotten person to begin with. But Cohen seemed to go above and beyond in attacking Trump. And so did his attorney, Guy Petrillo, who said Cohen “had the misfortune to be counsel to the president” and seemed to make a glancing reference to Trump’s failed business ventures.
The question is whether the speech was bluster or suggestive of something to come. Cohen suggested he covered up “dirty deeds” almost routinely, which makes you wonder what else he might have told special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s team about such deeds. The Southern District of New York prosecutors didn’t appear particularly thrilled with his cooperation, it bears noting, but Mueller’s team has said Cohen was a helpful witness. Just two weeks ago, Cohen pleaded guilty in Mueller’s probe to lying about his pursuit of a Trump Tower in Moscowduring the 2016 presidential primaries. The fact that Mueller sought a plea about that specific event — and not all the others Cohen has apparently lied about — suggests it was an event of substance in the collusion investigation and could be a focal point going forward. Was the “dirty deed” just lying to cover up Trump’s ongoing pursuit of the project? Or could there be something more? We don’t know, but Mueller probably does.

From suggestions of “political synergy” and offers of business deals to contact with more than a dozen people in then-candidate Donald Trump’s orbit, Russian outreach to the Trump campaign has a familiar and alarming pattern to experts in the intelligence field. The attempts by Russians to establish contact, which were laid out in the latest court filings by special counsel Robert Mueller, were persistent, apparently targeted and more frequent than would be expected during a typical presidential campaign, former officials said after reviewing the documents. “This pattern is what the Russians do everywhere else in the world,” said Steven Hall, a former CIA official. “It’s standard intelligence tradecraft.”
Mueller has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election for more than a year and has not revealed clear evidence of coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Much of the investigation is still under wraps, but the portrait emerging from court filings and other sources is striking to intelligence professionals. “It’s all vintage Russian intelligence behavior,” said Bruce Riedel, a former senior CIA officer and now a fellow at the Brookings Institution. Trump, who has repeatedly lashed out at the probe, insisted in a tweet again this week that there was “NO COLLUSION” between his campaign and Russia. And it’s not unheard of for campaigns to be in contact at times with foreigners.
What’s “completely unusual” is the number of people involved, said Trevor Potter, who was general counsel for the late Sen. John McCain’s 2000 and 2008 presidential campaigns. Typically, any such communications would be routed through the foreign policy team and the general counsel alerted, he said. Court filings and Associated Press reporting identified contacts between at least 14 people linked to the Trump campaign and Russian nationals. They include a Russian who reached out to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen in 2015 and offered “political synergy” between Russia and the Republican campaign. A person familiar with the matter confirmed that person is a former Russian Olympic athlete named Dmitry Klokov.
Former intelligence officials say the pattern of Russian outreach emerging is similar to the early stage of a Russian intelligence operation. Russian agents or third parties will approach people offering to help improve U.S.-Russian relations or offering a business deal before talking politics, said Hall, a retired CIA chief of Russian operations. Russian contacts with the Trump campaign, which recent court filings from Mueller show, began within months of Trump announcing his candidacy in June, 2015. A number of the Russians initiating the contact or proposing business deals were obscure figures with ties to the country’s military or powerful oligarchs.
On Trump’s side, Russians made contact with at least 14 individuals ranging from members of Trump’s family and senior members of his campaign to mid- and low-level associates. The range of people in Trump’s orbit contacted by Russian individuals suggest the operation was in its early stages and was casting a “wide net,” Hall said. “This is how Russian intelligence approaches start, in an amenable way,” Hall said, noting that the word “synergy” in the Mueller filing stood out to him in particular. Russian agents or third parties will approach people offering to help improve U.S.-Russian relations or offering a business deal before talking politics, he said.
Russian intelligence agencies often use third parties to initiate contact. “That’s why you’re seeing this weird cast of characters,” Hall said, explaining that individuals like Konstantin Kilimnik fit the profile of someone who would be used by a Russian intelligence agency as a low-level intermediary. Mueller believes Kilimnik — who was born in Soviet Ukraine and served in the Soviet military before joining the International Republican Institute in Moscow as a translator — has ties to Russian intelligence. Kilimnik has denied this. The emergence of Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal lawyer and fixer, as central to Russian contact with the campaign also fits the mold of a Russian intelligence operation. Cohen’s large debt of over $14 million could be easily identified as a possible leverage point and by arranging the payment of hush money he demonstrated his willingness to undertake risky behavior. “The goal is assess vulnerability and access,” Riedel said. “Cohen would be an obvious target on both counts.”

Foreign Threats
Aside from further dividing our country & causing us to lose our moral compass, the greatest danger from Trump resides in his isolationist/nationalistic approach. This every country for themselves attitude with America relinquishing its leadership role, it’s about to spark an arms race of unabated nuclear proliferation. That reality would be suicide for the world (see songs at bottom of part 3). So not the least of our concerns are the chaos, lies & crimes coming from this administration, since we have some serious risks among our foreign adversaries as seen in these news reports with live links. This first link shows the Senate can still have the integrity to do the right thing & push back on Trump. Will they have the same backbone whenever it comes time after the House impeaches?:
