Hard to Find Solutions when We’re Not Really Looking…MAGA can only be made possible when Americans once again come together as a people. That can never be accomplished with the current divisive & corrupt president, plus the far-right media echo needs to be thoroughly discredited. Government does have an important role to play in structuring a more inclusive economy, which isn’t possible to construct till we find a way to work together & get past this stalemate of partisan gridlock. Our current unfettered free market capitalism is trending towards an oligarchy, with wage/wealth inequality racing along the tracks at an unprecedented speed as if carried on a runaway train, like another Gilded Age when the servant peasants are assigned to serve the aristocracy.
Alternatively, the more progressive ideas by Dem presidential candidates are certainly not socialism by definition as the GOP smear campaign claims, but they tend to trend more in that direction. I do have legit concerns the eventual Dem nominee could be seen as going so far left, it could scare away moderates in the general election & allow the corrupt GOP to take the White House again. I also share real concerns by expanding government programs in trying to provide handouts to all in need, it creates a dependency mentality which many can abuse & take advantage of. The bigger we make the safety net, the more who’ll jump in & use as a hammock. The challenge becomes revamping the system to find a better balance, so many more in the working class can prosper without hindering our work ethic or incentives to invest. It’s a daunting challenge, but with our bitter divides we’re hardly discussing viable remedies:

Economic Challenges
The pendulum has swung so hard against so many hard-working middle class Americans, something needs done to recapture the American Dream of opportunity for all, upward mobility & shared prosperity. A record Dow isn’t helping the many Americans who aren’t invested. With unimaginable wealth in these United States, it’s unconscionable as seen in these articles that such a high percentage of Americans would be struggling to get by. We should strive to develop innovative approaches in a wide range of areas for creating a structure where full-time workers can expect to earn livable wages:

Doing Nothing Not an Option
But that’s exactly what the GOP is still doing as they bow down to the NRA cult:

Where’d My Old Party Disappear To?
The wayward GOP seems lost in the wilderness. With our prez under investigation, it might be tempting to say just wait till November & let the people decide who’ll govern us for the following 4 years, but there are a couple problems with that option. By excusing serious criminal behavior on the part of our president, it basically trashes our constitutional rule of law & sets a precedent for future candidates to similarly cheat & steal elections.
It also gives (& emboldens) Trump a free pass to keep inviting foreign players to interfere in our campaigns & taint the 2020 election, like the Russian bots who flooded social media by providing over 100 million Americans in 2016 with false attack ads, so the floodgates could open for multiple sinister players doing even more damage during the next year. We want American voters picking our presidents, not enemies who seek to sow chaos. And unleashing Trump for an additional 4 years would be an unmitigated disaster!
In their subservience to their demagogue leader who is in the person of President Trump, the entire GOP has incredibly turned into the party of corrupt jackasses. That isn’t just my opinion, it’s evidentiary reality based on an overwhelming amount of credible information, including the many links posted below. I’ve always backed the GOP until recently, so I’m flabbergasted by how much the party has turned for the worst. At this point I’d prefer the party & their deceptive messaging be destroyed the minute Trump goes down, in the hopes we can start over from scratch with a constructive & sane new party.
Will at least 34 out of the 53 GOP senators do enough mental gymnastics to justify defying the Constitution? That despite overwhelming evidence of crimes, could they really fail in their duty to convict Trump? The party has become so dishonest & lawless, they certainly can’t be trusted. So for the time being, America is saddled with a major party wallowing in the mud & residing in a galaxy that in actuality doesn’t exist in the real world. Our nation is in real danger if the GOP continues on the way they are. And you don’t have to believe me, just check out these reports with excuses in defense of Trump that are out of this world, as we’ve posted an overload of evidence inside the articles here:

Polls
Polling indicates the anti-Trump sentiment is growing. And with the results of the Louisiana governor’s race, it just shows how toxic Trump has become to the GOP in the eyes of the majority of Americans:
Nowhere Man
Most of our weekly song selections at the bottom of Part 3 are chosen with Trump in mind. So here’s another old tune with lyrics that seem to describe Trump…
He’s a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Doesn’t have a point of view
Knows not where he’s going to
Isn’t he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere man, please listen
You don’t know what you’re missing
Nowhere man, the world is at your command
He’s as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man can you see me at all?
Nowhere man, don’t worry
Take your time, don’t hurry
Leave it all ’til somebody else lends you a hand
