The number of links reporting on Trump’s crime wave have been substantially reduced lately, since no new illegal activities have gained much traction in the headlines. But no doubt more crimes will be revealed in the days ahead, once again filling up our Part 1 sections. I’m not stating categorically we will fall into fascism if Trump gets reelected, but the risk is certainly there, which is why we cannot afford to take that chance! I’ve kept saying over & over & over again, if we don’t fix capitalism for the working class, we’re going to lose it to socialism. The fix definitely won’t come easy, but that would sure beat fundamentally changing who we are as a country with massive government handouts. On the other side, those who advocate staying with roughly the same formula we’re using are also unwittingly pushing us towards socialism, because basically doing nothing different can only amp up the underlying frustrations & tempt more voters to opt out of capitalism. Maybe the majority won’t transition over to such an anti-capitalist/pro-socialist posture in this election cycle, but it could happen soon if we fail to effectively address the rising levels of income inequality & economic insecurity.

I’ve never seen such a dramatic upward surge for a campaign as in just the past week. Starting with the strong debate performance to the Clyburn endorsement, leading to the SC blowout & establishment Dems consolidating around him in helping ignite that Joe-mentum, Uncle Joe had a super Super Tuesday way beyond all expectations. But establishment Dems better not gloat about trying to take down Bernie, particularly considering they need his voters! The attention should be squarely on taking down Trump, so we must take the attitude we’re fully behind Biden or Bernie no matter who becomes the nominee.
With Biden riding this remarkable turnaround, now he’s got the support, organization & money of Bloomberg behind him. We’ve got to hand it to Bloomberg, he’s dedicated to defeating the current prez & willing to invest in that important mission. Now with the field winnowed down to basically two choices, it simplifies the race & presents a stark choice. And if Joe does beat Bernie, it helps soften a key GOP talking point painting the Dems as socialists. So this revolution Bernie is calling for may need to wait for perhaps having its day someday, but the vote yesterday clarifies how the immediate priority is to dump Trump! A week ago the polls weren’t anywhere near last night’s results, so the sudden change really was dramatic:
