Evil-Echo Empire Update

The term evil really extends to the entire echo, but I incorporated the term into my messages specifically targeting Fox News after it was discovered their corporate culture is possessed by a demonic spirit of sexual assault, which the evil deception has also filtered over into their on-air propaganda.  I keep warning the echo-audience since it seems to me repeated exposure to echo sources can make the people themselves possessed of such deception.  It stuns me once rational conservatives, literally numbering into the millions, have gradually slid down that slippery slope over the past decade or so into a nihilistic extremism far removed from the conservative principles we once embraced.  As echo-fans keep falling for the evil, the GOP & our nation are being badly damaged, manifesting itself into electing a president like Trump & producing a dysfunctional culture among our DC leaders who can’t get things done while our problems fester.  Until we can find a way to break this echo-fever, America itself is increasingly imperiled.
The numerous articles below help expose the echo for the sinister force it truly is.  Please share since people need to be warned.  Going down the list of links, we see Trump attacking & lying about the media, a direct attack on our 1st Amendment & Freedom of the Press.  He’s even using the voice of a respected 4-Star General towards his authoritarian goals.  There are also plenty of stories about Fox fake-news, especially their despicable morning show & evening lineup serving to turn their viewers’ minds to mush.  One of the few sane Fox voices, Chris Wallace, called out his network for their constant attacks on the real media.  We also see all the links about some of O’Reilly’s accusers, plus a new revelation where he paid off a female victim to the tune of $32 million.  If the allegations weren’t true, I can’t imagine paying that kind of dollar amount no matter how rich he might be.  And we see a pattern with powerful men like O’Reilly, Weinstein, Cosby, Ailes & Trump, which when their reputations are at stake, they think nothing of lying about it all & blaming their accusers.
I also wanted to mention a Salon article on Fox’s new prime-time lineup containing this point of wisdom:
Some conservatives warned in 2016, after Fox’s heavy promotion of Trump helped him vanquish the field of primary candidates, that right-wing media’s power had become too great, creating an echo chamber that divorced the party’s voters from reality. According to these critics, the movement’s leading media players, — especially Fox hosts like — were more interested in their own bombast and bottom lines than in growing a responsible, sane political movement.

We also have this gem from a Daily Kos article where Fox makes the argument the abuser & his company should both pay the price of Weinstein’s reprehensible behavior.  From that logic, Fox itself should pay a heavy price.  And what about that abuser-in-chief which Fox is continually an apologist for?  But it seems echo-fans in being coached by the echo have become accepting of immoral & illegal activities, such as sexual assault, physically attacking journalists & dumping on our Constitution to facilitate replacing democracy with authoritarianism.  I keep repeating ad nauseam, don’t think it couldn’t happen here in America!  Especially if we let it!
Here’s an excerpt from that article:
To put this in perspective, Fox News has argued that such behavior is so irredeemable that punishing the abuser isn’t enough. The company employing him should literally be shut down. That assessment was provided by Fox host and pundit Gregg Jarrett in both a column of the Fox website and on the air. Jarrett, however, was referring to movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his production company. But by simply replacing references to Weinstein with Fox News, the commentary retains its meaning while pointing to an entirely different but equally guilty company.

We must call out Trump’s repeated attacks on the media & 1st Amendment.  Democracy is reliant on a free press.  Admittedly, never have we seen such a feeding frenzy by the media in attacking our President, but the reality is he deserves it.  Every day we see from him yet another new outrage, mean-spirited insult or false statement.  Trump & the echo have their recent gambit bringing up the uranium deal as the latest scandal of the moment, but that was largely debunked a couple years ago.  Investigate that too if they want, but it’s a molehill compared to the mountain of the Trump-Russian scandal.  That uranium deal was approved by several federal agencies, not just Obama & Hillary, so if there was anything nefarious going on, it was certainly out in the open through multiple committees & passed national security standards.  All these contrived echo-scandals are just a diversion from the Mueller investigation which could land like a sledgehammer once the facts are in.
In the links more towards the bottom, we see Bannon’s relentless mission to destroy the GOP, plus the dangers of other echo-sources like Breitbart & Sinclair, probably even more radicalized than Fox.  There’s also links to pragmatic conservatives Erickson & Sykes telling their testimonies, with another article where Trump can’t figure out why the media can’t see his greatness.  He’s truly a legend in his own mind.  See some other links which reveal the true Trump as he pertains to the real media & the fake echo, with the last link including the interesting graphic below showing our increasing political divide.
Any of these articles would be very important for echo-fans to see, since they should be made aware of what they’re polluting their minds with.  Unfortunately, too many are so lost inside their bubble, they’ve become too close-minded to accept more objective truths.  All we can do is keep trying.  These first few articles are particularly enlightening.

I can’t deny we need corporate tax reform since our current convoluted code is restricting economic growth, while also doing no favors to small business who lack the clout & legal teams to navigate the complicated process of maximizing deductions & locating all the loopholes.  But we can’t expect the growth in GDP & wages from the current bill to project the wishful thinking proponents are claiming.  Over the weekend on a congressional conference call, Trump urged quick passage of the tax bill (before the public finds out what’s really in it).  If it’s really what we think it is, these tax cuts will turn out as unpopular as the Trumpcare bill was.  The specifics are still rather vague & smarter heads need to crunch the numbers, but all the indications are this piece of legislation is nothing like what Trump claims, that it’s actually a tax cut for the rich & not the middle class.
On healthcare, a more reasonable bipartisan proposal looks to be shot down by a wavering President, showing Trump as not just a clueless waffler without any core principles, but also an obstructionist largely at fault for not achieving any legislative achievements.  Trump blamed McCain & McConnell for not getting a healthcare plan through last time, but now with a better deal ready to go, look at who is balking this time.  So not only do we now have what we can consider the most clueless, incompetent, divisive & temperamentally-unfit President in our worst nightmares, but we also have what can be correctly called the obstructionist President.  And he won the election in large part due to his great deal-making skills, but GOP members of Congress are finding him incompetent on his deal-making, along with doing a lousy job selling these deals or even understanding these deals.  Trump actually worked out recent bipartisan deals with congressional leadership on healthcare & DACA, only to renege a day later.  He doesn’t know if he’s coming or going.
On good ideas, we’re not thinking anywhere near big enough.  It seems as though legislation on taxes & healthcare are being pushed only for the optics of showing they can do something, not that such changes are really going to make much of a difference.  In the links below, here are the basic topics in order.  The first group speaks of our struggling economy, no matter what the stats say.  There are several links on the tax proposal which is being pushed with the patently false claim it won’t raise deficits.  There are some healthcare articles with a major push for a bipartisan solution by responsible legislators.  Also see links to Puerto Rico & identity politics, with other various issues scattered in.  Definitely hear the video in the last link, from Fox ironically enough.  As he interviews the author of Dead Center, Cavuto says the book is the definitive guide to what’s gone wrong, & if we keep this up (partisan gridlock) we’re doomed.
Also find the article below on the struggles of small towns in America, as these thoughts of Arthur Morgan from 75 years ago are increasingly being played out:
Morgan was suspicious of big business, but was also a free-enterprise idealist. His model communities, he knew, would thrive only if they had sound economies based on smaller, regional industries, agriculture, and crafts. “Modern ‘free initiative,’” he wrote of unrestrained capitalism, “such as has prevailed in England and America, through great concentration of economic power has robbed the average man of much of his freedom, but has failed to retain a sense of mutual regard and responsibility.”
