Trump’s case is terminal over the Russian scandal since it’s not going away, likely becoming fatal to his presidency.  In using baseball lingo, Cubs fan reveled in his team’s first championship in 108 years last fall.  And his favorite team has gotten hot lately, but for most of this season the Cubbies starting pitching have struggled.  Well, he’ll be glad to know there’s news through the grapevine that Robert Mueller’s team is “finding the strike zone.”  That means his pitches are hitting the mark in digging up the dirt on the Russian scandal.  Word tonight is Trump’s legal team is looking at his options for pardoning those around him including himself.  Reading between the lines, Trump knows he’s guilty & the investigations are closing in on him.  Those who are innocent don’t need to look into pardons.

A NY Times interview yesterday revealed Trump is trying to squash looking into his financial dealings, since that’s where the smoking guns could be found.  The interview also once again highlighted our President’s lack of judgement, petty grievances, self-centeredness, lack of awareness & delusional psychosis.  I suspect his irrational thought patterns & lashing out are due to knowing he’s in deep trouble.  Trump says he hasn’t made business deals in Russia, but such potential financial ties could be the key to unlocking the entire Russian mystery.  Finding the truth in the investigations requires following the money trail.  Trump is threatening Mueller not to snoop into his tax returns, which only indicates there’s certainly something in there worth hiding.  The prez is practically psychotic in his cover-up, so we have to ask what is he hiding?  Trump has no business setting limits on the special counsel investigation.  If he wants to totally delegitimize his presidency & conclusively prove he’s trying to hide illegal activities that had been committed during the campaign, just try to fire Mueller.  That should also be the last straw for GOP members of Congress.  Even threatening Mueller as Trump just did could amount to obstruction.

Just like the echo, Trump keeps showing he has an obsession for all things Hillary, plus any of their other primary political opponents.  It’s so surreal they just can’t let it go, even though such opposition are largely irrelevant now.  Our clueless prez is also slamming his Attorney General for doing the right thing by recusing himself over the Russian investigation.  Anyone who aligns with this President should watch their back, since as a self-centered narcissist Trump will throw anyone under the bus at the most minor infraction.  And as the NY Times interview shows, every time Trump speaks off the cuff, we learn more about how truly shallow, clueless & vindictive he truly is with an extraordinarily immature disposition, which only further confirms what a huge blunder was made in electing him President.  He demands loyalty from his people without garnering respect.  It’s just very difficult to follow a leader so lacking in integrity.  And he always tries to make himself look bigger by making those around him look smaller.
