Evil Empire Update

Evil Empire update….The far-right media machine has lost its way, falling into a pattern of lies, distortions & dangerous rhetoric that’s uniquely a real threat to America.  That so much of their audience believe them is one of the great mysteries of mankind.  That whole echo-crowd if they unwittingly destroy our democracy, it’s on them but we all pay for it.  Don’t think a Russian-style oligarchy system couldn’t happen here as the Trump-Putin triumphant hopes to achieve.  If our worst fears play out, I’m not sure we can call the echo-adherents traitors based on stupidity alone, since it’s not likely their real intent was evil.  We can more realistically identify them as a cult, being swept up in self-destructive deceptions.  The origins of this creeping evil started years ago with the far-right craziness & nutty conspiracy theories spread on the fanatical social media groups & talk radio circuit.  Millions of once patriotic conservatives became so brainwashed, they got engrossed in that extremist messaging & sought media sources that echoed the same false ideology.

Once Fox non-News management saw data that ratings improved when they echoed the same radical nonsense, the directive came down from on high to copy the garbage coming from the radio & internet, including the vapid cheerleading meant to appease Trumpeters.  So in a shift away from objective conservative reporting, Fox sold their soul for ratings.  The prevailing conservative mindset despite becoming so toxic & warped, it was still readily accepted when the entire echo was singing the same tune in unison.  The question then becomes who is really to blame, the network or the audience?  Sort of like what came first, the chicken or the egg?  Fox shifted their narrative to please their audience.  But that audience got first indoctrinated by the bombastic hate speech on the radio/internet which shifted their views way out on the far-right.  Bottom line is they’re all to blame, & the new nihilistic viewpoints are destroying the GOP & conservatism beyond recognition.

If in the end it can be proven all the echo’s lying & diversions for the President basically made them accessories to covering up the crime of conspiring with a foreign adversary to interfere in our election, then this far-right echo-chamber would not just be considered evil.  They’d also be exposed as in effect an enemy to the United States, being complicit in the illegal acts Trump & his minions would also be guilty of.  There’s no doubt discrediting our election (once collusion with Russia is proven) is a direct attack on our democracy way beyond Watergate, a deplorable crime & precedent we must not let continue.  And if the Fox non-News audience had a major influence in shifting the Fox rhetoric towards an extremist pro-Trump cheerleading which ran contrary to all the available evidence, what role would all those Trumpeters have also served in this crime?  Yes, I’m pointing fingers, but all the more reason to share this message with the echo-crowd, just to get them thinking enough maybe they’ll finally see the error of their ways.  I’d rather insult some echo-people rather than allowing our free democracy to slowly disintegrate.

There’s plenty of kooks in the rightwing media sphere as the links below illustrate.  I’ve been repeatedly saying despite Cubs fan objections, that my smear of Insanity Hannity isn’t just name-calling, but there’s even more proof in these articles below Insanity really is insane.  Plus the obsession inside echo-bubble-world over Hillary never ends, used as a distraction away from the disaster that is Trump.  Realize the echo’s whole existence is dependent on having a bogeyman (or woman) to demonize, so they just can’t quit Hillary.  If we can somehow get more of the echo-crowd to pay attention to articles such as what’s below, we might drag some of them back from their radical-right thinking, making the GOP & conservatism sane again, so we can finally get back on track & start saving the country….
