This doesn’t look good….Our thoughts & prayers go out to the people of southern Florida, many still on the coast who stayed behind are about to go through hell on Earth tomorrow. The current projected path shows Miami spared from taking a direct hit, but now the southwest Fla coast all the way up to Tampa are in the crosshairs. It’s coincidental three of the most dangerous & destructive hurricanes in American history have all hit our homeland in the same year, Hurricane Harvey hitting Texas, Hurricane Irma hitting Florida & Hurricane Russia hitting DC & all across the country. Irma has, is & will dominate the news for several more days, which the reports, much like Harvey two weeks ago, will be heartbreaking. But stealing the headlines cannot deflect the impact of Hurricane Russia, which is also ramping up like a Category 5. And far more than Harvey which sat for days over Houston dumping rain, the Russian hurricane is certain to hang around for quite awhile.
Donny Jr’s testimony this week in front of a Senate panel included his admission that meeting with the Russians last year at Trump Tower was all about finding the dirt on Hillary. So much of his testimony seems to display a tremendous combination of denial, conflicting accounts & amnesia, which in essence he’s trying to claim he did steal the cookies from the cookie jar, but he shouldn’t be accused of stealing the cookies. Yes, the plot thickens. The more we hear about all the shenanigans Team-Trump had going on with the Russians, the more it appears Watergate was a picnic compared to what we’re learning about Russia-gate. That a presidential campaign colluded with a foreign enemy to successfully interfere with our election, compared to low-level Nixon aides stealing stuff from the Dem campaign headquarters, would be like comparing an armed robbery to shoplifting.
And any time a Trump campaign official denied contacts with the Russians or the contents of those communications, subsequent info would come out refuting their claims. All along whatever Trump & his staff have said or done about the investigations, it’s patently obvious they’re trying to hide something. As Trump & his minions repeatedly claim there was never any collusion with the Russians, the evidence keeps pointing otherwise from which I’m confident the ongoing investigations will prove their guilt. Mueller will pull more evidence from Donny Jr’s Senate testimony in conjunction with the other info he’s been gathering from the Trump Tower meeting, plus will keep pursuing insights from those who’d be in position to shed more light on that meeting or the letter the Prez helped pen on Air Force One to mislead investigators on the purpose of that meeting. He also has on his radar interviewing many of Trump’s top campaign aides, which the topics will drill down to topics such as the way Comey & Flynn were dealt with & their firings as it relates to this case.
Everything we’re hearing about with the plethora of evidence already released to the public has obstruction written all over it committed by Trump, with the tight-lipped Mueller team also likely compiling mountains of incriminating evidence behind the scenes. We can further surmise the rather obvious collusion with the Russians his son has been testifying to would have been known & probably even directed by Trump Sr. himself, which their nefarious plot may have been effective enough to swing the tide in allowing him to win the presidency. No matter whether this criminal activity swung the election or not, which we’ll likely never know for sure, but as long as the investigations can prove coordination occurred between the Trump campaign & the Russians, all those who were involved must be removed from power. The guy elected as our leader has repeatedly demonstrated he is indeed a jerk, now we just need to find out whether he’s also a criminal that would demand his ouster.
The Facebook ads just publicly revealed could be just the tip of the iceberg in the Russian misinformation campaign to tarnish Hillary’s campaign. Since the ads were geographically targeted to influence swing areas raises the very real possibility there was coordination here in America with the Russians seeking to help Trump’s campaign. The amount of Russian bots spreading disinformation to a quite a number of American markets now appears to have been widespread. So we certainly need to find new ways to catch & stop these attacks. But the obvious question the investigations are tasked to uncover is was anyone among Trump’s staff involved, & if so who? Following the money trail will allow investigators to trace back to the source(s) paying for the ads, which might also expose direct connections to the people within the Trump campaign who may have helped in the coordination. Then the question also becomes, as was the popular phrase during Watergate, is what did the President know & when did he know it?
Harvey will go down as probably the costliest natural disaster in our nation’s history. And it might have held that title for a measly two weeks. Not to dump on other cities when they’re down, but the Houston, Miami & Tampa metropolitan areas have had explosive growth the past few decades, whereas around here we’ve had a population drain. When millions & millions of people have put themselves in harm’s way by setting up residence along America’s southeast coast, damages well into the billions of dollars are destined to occur every time those areas get hit with a major hurricane. Might I respectfully suggest, despite our miserable winters, that people relocate back to the shores on the North Coast, where the lakes are big enough to look like oceans & feature miles upon miles of affordable waterfront property. And our Great Lakes have never had a hurricane plus they’re full of freshwater, not saltwater.
And especially see these first several articles below which show the pieces are coming together as a more focused picture, increasingly becoming clear that the coordination between Trump’s campaign & the Russians were so interwoven, it’s starting to get obvious this could not have been a mere coincidence. And all those who snickered & dismissed my prediction America will have a new President by the end of this year, look at how this case is ramping up as Mueller is moving fast. Should an irrefutable smoking gun be found, the momentum could turn dramatically against the White House & the inevitable end might come quickly.
