Evil-Echo Empire Update

I call the echo evil simply because they’re evil.  They’re evil because they keep promoting hardcore extremist propaganda that has nothing in common with logical, pragmatic conservatism.  They’re evil because they’re repeatedly selling their unworkable rubbish to millions of former conservatives who’ve bought into their fanatical brand of nihilistic/intransigent nonsense way too outrageous for America or any other country.  They’ve moved their ideologies so far right that here in the center-right I can no longer see them even with a telescope.  They’re off in a distant galaxy.  Their agenda would never work here on planet Earth.

And in the case of Fox fake-news, beyond their toxic rhetoric, they’re also evil from years of enabling an internal culture of sexual harassment & abuse.  The millions who regularly tune in & believe what they hear from Fox & other echo-sources, it’s a real shame because as conservatives before they bought into the fraud, they previously had coherent political views along with a moral compass.  They were once real conservatives before becoming radicalized.  The more they align themselves with the dark side, the more they are ruining the GOP, & also by extension, America.  The lying within echo-bubble world is so pervasive, it’s astounding that so many are actually buying in.  It seems the echo has them in some evil trance, like members of a cult.  As an analogy, if the echo were sports reporters, they could probably convince Cleveland Browns fans the team is favored to win the Super Bowl every year.

Anytime the news headlines don’t fit the echo’s pre-established agenda, they spin and lie about it.  Of course, when Fox fake-news & other echo-sources report on the Russian evidence, they turn it around in claiming it shows there wasn’t any collusion, so the real fault must be coming from Hillary, or Obama, or the news media, or the deep state, or the yada-yada-yada.  It’s why the echo-audiences are so badly misinformed when they don’t tune into real news sources.  Recently the echo has managed to piggyback their propaganda on the backs of Trump’s lies & even some of the fake news stories proliferating out there, which gives these phony stories & conspiracies credibility with the flock when several different sources echo the same basic narratives.

It’s really tragic with millions of viewers/listeners smitten by Fox & talk radio & rightwing sites, they don’t even realize they’re being duped.  Cubs fan complained about CNN in a reply this week, but it’s far better that people tune into more balanced news.  He sounded giddy about Rush Dimbulb appearing on Insanity Hannity’s show at his new hour, so I assume that means he missed Maddow.  Dimbulb & Insanity deserve each other, the two who happen to be most responsible for the devastation of rational conservative thought, along with doing great damage to America through spreading hyper-partisanship, polarization, obstruction & gridlock, because their radicalized far-right agenda has fostered the environment where DC leadership are stifled from getting productive things done.

The echo & the followers they control have launched this intra-party civil war, which America needs pragmatic center-right conservatives to defeat them.  But it’s a tough fight, despite the rational side having facts, truth & the ability to govern on their side, but the echo is a cottage industry having grown into a monster based on distortions, deception, falsehoods & conspiracies feeding unabridged anger & hatred.  Bannon & his raging anti-establishment fervor has openly declared war on the GOP, which ironically it’s possible the only way to eventually defeat this insurgency is to let them win.  This alt-right populist aberration, a cousin to the tea party, by gaining control would quickly sink the party.  As the Dems regain control, it might finally dawn on the conservative base they’d better return to practical center-right conservative principles to regain some influence again, perhaps even agreeing to pursue bipartisanship.

In the articles below, the first link clearly shows how Fox & the echo have made the GOP base incoherently delusional.  The next link indicates there’s a vocal minority following the echo & not facts.  The third & fourth links show Fox has not cleaned up their long-term issue of moral depravity.  Below that are the typical articles showing the ridiculous Fox tomfoolery.  Other links of interest, there is Bannon’s war on the GOP, Christians calling out racism, Rubin explaining why it’s stupid to blame McConnell for the GOP’s travails, Morning Joe doesn’t even know the conservative base anymore, & various other articles revealing many misconceptions by the GOP & their base, all brought on by the deceptive echo which has gained hypnotic mind-control over them.  The echo may soon have their comeuppance.  Here’s hoping the echo will keep losing credibility as this sorry-excuse-for-a-leader is exposed.  In their unfailing support for a failed prez soon to be disgraced by a criminal investigation, when Trump goes he may take the evil-echo with him.

Our President lives in his own alternate-reality, with everything in his own mind not viewing the world as it really is, but only how the world views him personally.  He can never empathize with others or see outside of himself, as with every event that transpires with him as our leader, his narcissistic-egomania personality reveals itself.  Another example of that is the tragedy unfolding in Puerto Rico, when he just couldn’t resist attacking back against someone who criticized him.  It’s not the mayor of San Juan’s leadership which is lacking, it’s his!  When reassuring words are most needed from their President, instead he’s infuriating them.  Not just Puerto Ricans, but all Americans should be appalled at Trump’s obvious tone-deafness, thin-skinned reaction, slow response, lack of focus, & no sense of urgency since the hurricane hit.  Among other things, the troops were called in a week too late.  And this is the totally inappropriate time to even think about lashing back at any Puerto Rican politicians or the people, where they’re dealing with life & death circumstances & time is of the essence.  Even Deputy Barney Fife would have provided more exemplary leadership than Trump this past week.

The San Juan mayor in the midst of her people suffering & dying, rightly called out the logistical bungling of the relief effort when the coordination was lacking getting urgently needed food, water & medical supplies to the people desperately waiting on such help.  In the links below, click on the videos of her heartfelt pleas to the President they can’t wait any longer.  That Trump, having his ego bruised, would tweet back this morning blasting the mayor in their time of desperation, once again proves Trump is an unmitigated jerk.  He even went so far to suggest those helpless, suffering people should help themselves (which residents are doing their best under dire conditions).  What kind of leadership are we witnessing, asking them to perform miracles, like that National Car commercial where the patient gives himself a “self-appendectomy.”  Trump’s words are asinine!  How totally insensitive, irresponsible & heartless!  There are no words to describe this so-called leader.  I’m tempted to call him other names besides jerk, but wouldn’t want to put such language down in print.  To the extent Trumpeters still stand by this guy, it’s truly one of the great unsolved mysteries in the history of our country (I really believe it’s because the echo has dumbed-down many in the conservative base to where rigid partisanship trumps truth).

Please see the mayor’s emotional cry for help in the first links below.  It’s apparent the President’s lack of leadership/delayed response have extended the deaths & suffering of those in a horrible situation.  A week ago when presidential leadership was most needed to focus on the disaster & mobilize the relief effort, even calling out the troops, his attention was elsewhere & his leadership AWOL.  I even warned this might happen in messages more than a week ago.  Granted, the situation is extremely difficult, but that doesn’t excuse the inadequate & tardy response, or the casual attitude.  Even the preplanning was missing, despite knowing a Cat 5 was heading directly towards this poor island with primitive infrastructure.  Maybe he actually views Puerto Rico as Madagascar or something, an island not really American.  All his comments a week ago were griping about the NFL in sparking another racial protest & dividing the nation yet again.  When he was then called out by many over the lack of acknowledgement & bungled coordination, Trump embarked on an alternative facts mission to pat himself on the back for the great response on Puerto Rico.  Huh?  As I keep pointing out, lying is second nature to him, which is why we catch him lying to us on a daily basis.  And overall we’ve never seen this much incompetence from a President on a number of issues.

In other headlines seen in the links below, I won’t deny we need tax reform.  The outdated code we have now should be updated so we’re more competitive on the world stage, smartly correcting the areas holding our economy back & adjusting parts of the tax code able to incentivize growth & job creation.  On the surface it does appear there are good ideas in the current proposal.  But as the specifics are revealed, the articles below can serve as cautionary notes on the real effects of the bill which could be based on obsolete models/assumptions which really won’t do much in helping the working middle class & small business.  So we must be wary of wolves in sheep’s clothing delivering false promises, by looking at this new plan with an objective view evaluating whether it can actually produce the intended results.  So who’s really going to be correct, Trump’s optimistic boasts or the articles below?  We have regularly seen in the past few months an administration regularly hyping their intentions with little regard to the truth.

Main concerns with this plan are will it primarily just be a tax cut for the rich, & will big reductions in revenue lead to even bigger deficits?  As plenty of recent empirical evidence suggests, the folly of trickle down tax cuts are clear, since dynamic scoring projections on economic growth are mostly pie-in-the-sky, & tax cuts by themselves don’t really raise wages.  I do agree the 35% corporate rate needs to come down, but even there the evidence suggests shareholders benefit far more than employees.

Trump boasts the tax cut wouldn’t personally benefit him (another lie).  If the preliminary analysis in numerous articles below turns out correct that the tax cuts would primarily benefit the wealthy, we can chalk it up to just another concoction by Trump, & just like Trumpcare we have another bill that won’t pass & they’ll need to go back to the drawing board.  Unless Trump & the specifics of the plan can prove those projections wrong without resorting to their usual BS of putting lipstick on a pig, we’ll need to reject the plan if these articles below are true.

Below the Puerto Rico links, there are excellent articles discussing the struggles of the working class & small business.  The angst & anger coming from the working class are understandable, especially considering wages have basically flatlined for the past half-century.  Then there are tons of links on the tax plan which refute Trump’s rosy promises.  After that are links exposing Trump’s insistence they had the votes to pass Trumpcare by yesterday but couldn’t because a Senator was in the hospital (more lies).  Also exposed below is Trump trying to sabotage Obamacare after failing to repeal it, which is only going to hurt more Americans.  The final links are reporting on the critical decision coming up on gerrymandering, perhaps our best chance to push back against so many extremist representatives being elected in DC.  But don’t miss these Puerto Rico stories.  Trump’s tweets are not just not presidential, they’re hardly human.  Sure, why not bash these desperate people during their critical emergency, then go golfing.  We don’t have a leader operating from the White House, we have a self-absorbed sociopath.

We need to start thinking outside-the-box….

I don’t know if they might be onto something here or not, but I’m just saying we should be willing to brainstorm various big & innovative ideas.  The equation has totally changed in the new global economy, but the GOP is still behind the 8-ball with outdated policies.  An undying devotion to unfettered free markets can no longer be exclusively relied on.  Trickle-down which conservatives have always loved doesn’t mesh with reality.  Corporations are already sitting on hordes of cash, which giving them even more cash tends to benefit shareholders more than employees.  We really need to brainstorm & experiment with social engineering for a new economy, where we do big/dramatic things to help the workforce become far more productive with better careers, which in turn could finally lift wages.  The wage/wealth gaps keep widening with current economic growth only benefitting the very top, so we need something transformative to change the equation & swing the pendulum back in favor of the working class.  It won’t be easy but needs done, hopefully in time before angry workers start voting for far-left socialism….

If we insist on deporting everyone who has been here for decades on a work permit, maybe Melania also has to go….
