Trump Legal Team Shakeup Imperils Mueller Status….
Trump views his job in the White House through the prism of how he can best benefit himself, not the country. His ego-fueled narcissism leaves him unable to see outside of himself, which is evident in his revengeful bullying completely lacking in human decency & compassion. It’s as though he lacks a conscience. Much like Trump has a history of physically abusing women, he routinely verbally abuses politicians & pundits not totally compliant to him. Having opposition is part & parcel to the presidential job itself, making Trump uniquely unqualified for the job. But with the instincts of a totalitarian dictator, in conjunction with a state-run media (echo) & an enthusiastic base (Trumpeters), we’ve never seen another time when our institutions of democracy have been so under siege.
Along with strong signs of illegalities happening before & after the election, those of us who are paying attention & following the details closely can clearly see the glaring signs of wrongdoing coming from this presidency. The constant media attacks on Trump are not without cause, & his problems do not stem from some deep state conspiracy, as Trump’s troubles are almost entirely self-induced. Much like Americans needed to rise up during the Civil War & WWII, this may be a moment in our history when patriotic Americans need to rally behind our nation & push back against the forces of tyranny, as signs point toward our constitutional democracy now being threatened like never before.
As always, the Related Articles for Part 1 start off with links to the Trump Russian scandal. As we wait for all the facts to come out on potential illegalities, here are 6 facts about the probe we can bank on:
1. Something was indeed going on behind the scenes between the Trump campaign & Russians
2. Trump & his minions are acting like they’re guilty with all the hiding & lying about what happened
3. There is already lots of circumstantial evidence we know suggesting both collusion & obstruction
4. His lapdogs/toadies in Congress & the echo are helping provide cover/excuses for Trump
5. We must leave Mueller alone & allow him to uncover all the facts
6. If it’s proven Trump broke the law by personally knowing his campaign was engaged with a foreign adversary to taint our election, he must go
And as I’ve often mentioned, another good rule of thumb we should always remember is Trump corrupts everyone he touches. We must try to contain him, & if necessary remove him. Our rule of law & Constitution are too important than to allow a president to denigrate them. And if Trump does anything to derail the Mueller probe, he would immediately delegitimize his presidency, which myself & countless others would call for his impeachment. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has so far discussed with President Donald Trump’s lawyers four main topics they want to talk about with the President. According to two sources, the areas that the special counsel investigators have indicated they want to pursue with Trump are the President’s role in crafting a statement abroad Air Force One that miscast Donald Trump Jr.’s campaign June 2016 meeting with Russians in Trump Tower, the circumstances surrounding that Trump Tower meeting as well as the firings of FBI Director James Comey and national security adviser Michael Flynn. One of the sources said the bulk of the topics conveyed surround the President’s actions with the Comey and Flynn firings. The topics are not the extent of Mueller’s interest, but, based on discussions between the two sides, they represent significant areas of focus so far for a Trump interview.
In addition to the Trump legal team shakeup, it was another crazy week of news. The various Russian probe headlines from the Related Articles below feature Trump’s lawyer John Dowd stepping aside, so it could pave the way for Trump to agree to a Mueller interview: trump-says-he-wants-to-

Under international dangers, most of the articles are about the concerns of having Bolton replace McMaster. I’ve always been on the hawkish side since terrorism will always continue to become more dangerous, & I just don’t know whether America & the world can tolerate a nuclear North Korea or Iran. But there may not be a person alive more hawkish than John Bolton: trumps-war-cabinet-is-taking-

Like most authoritarians, Trump views an independent judiciary as a threat to his power. To that end, he pressured Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe (two days before the latter’s planned retirement). This was done in an obvious effort to short-circuit the investigation into how Trump and his inner circle may have colluded with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign and then obstructed justice to conceal the crime. Through his attorney and also directly via Twitter, Trump has continued to signal that he will likely fire Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Such an action would likely provoke a constitutional crisis, but would also further consolidate Trump’s power: The Republican Party, its captive media and its voters will rally around their president, proclaiming him the victim of a conspiracy by the so-called deep state and the Democratic Party.
Ultimately, Trump would not be president without the support of tens of millions of (white) Americans. As such, his authoritarian movement is a symptom of a much deeper social and political rot in the United States. These findings speak to a broader social and political moment in which nearly one in 10 Americans express some degree of sympathy or support for Nazism and other radical right-wing ideologies, and where we have seen a noteworthy increase in right-wing political violence and domestic terrorism (including murder) that began as a backlash against Barack Obama and has now been nurtured by Donald Trump.
So please peruse all the links in the Related articles, from the Mueller investigation to the new Trump legal team & all the rest. There are times I get the impression for the last election, no matter if it was Hugh Hefner, Bill Cosby, O.J. Simpson or perhaps even Hitler, the GOP base would have voted for any of them or anyone else over Hillary, or in the case of evangelicals, anybody would get the nod regardless for the singular reason of running on an anti-abortion platform. Thanks to that kind of overall flawed thinking, look at who we did get stuck with as our leader. Gee, thanks a lot to all those conservative & Trumpeter voters out there. That’s why we implore people to check out The Voracs commentaries & some of the many related articles readers can choose from. In order to save America & even the Republican Party, we need a much more informed voter base, absolutely essential for picking the right leadership, & Lord help us, so we don’t make a similar mistake again as what happened in November 2016.
