Give the Working Class a Break…If we lose free-market capitalism to more of a socialist model due to our failure to fix modern-day capitalism for the working class, we’ll be no further ahead. What helped make America great in the first place was that can-do spirit, so we must never sacrifice the incentives to work hard & provide investors incentive to spend on plant & equipment. We need to engage in thoughtful dialogue with a sincere determination to find the right balance, supporting a growing economy in such a way that capital can’t continue to dominate & exploit labor.
Both parties are off-kilter & hunkered down in their corners. The Dems handouts approach isn’t the answer! The GOP hands-off approach isn’t the answer! There can be no answers till we find some way to meet somewhere in the middle. The Dems should focus in on issues popular with the American people, such as health care, gun laws & not separating migrant families, along with viable ideas for giving middle class working families a fair shake instead of cowering to the upper class like the GOP does.
Overall for now, political ideologies are no longer that relevant with such a clear & present danger inside the White House, as those who judge Trump mainly based on the performance of the economy are being extremely shortsighted. When a president normalizes lying, bullying & corruption for American leaders going forward, obliterating our nation’s values, freedoms & democratic institutions, it can reach the point where the economy becomes the least of our concerns. American democracy may not even survive a 2nd Trump term, so whoever wins the Dem nomination must also win the general election! But take a good look at the real economy inside these links:

We Just Lost Another Rock Legend
Our current prez has inspired a movement that wants to take us back in time, recapturing a MAGA era defined by an entitled sense of white male privilege. We do need to go back to a time jobs can pay a livable wage & entrepreneurs can start a business even with limited seed money. But we’ll never go back to the days when many huge factories dotted the landscape with thick smoke billowing from large smokestacks, each employing thousands of workers under one roof. A new economy providing true opportunity featuring shared growth & upward mobility, that dream can no longer resemble the industrial post-WWII lunch-bucket crowd, but must move forward with new industries & technologies that fit the modern world. So no matter what MAGA-headed Trumpeters are after, it’s time for each one of us to realize I can’t go back I know…
