Our previous post in Part 1 after the impeachment votes had tons of news articles, but below are more reports that have come out since Thursday. Being such a historic week, it’s one us political junkies will remember for a lifetime, with the promise of much more drama in the weeks ahead. With our president seemingly a mob boss running a crime syndicate, who knows what bombshells might still drop that would finally derail his presidency. One thing we know for certain is Trump-world has engaged in a massive cover-up starting with the Russia probe all the way through the Ukraine investigation. The challenge ahead is to break through their concealment scheme & unmask the juicy evidence they’ve been so emphatic about keeping secret. If the Dems’ truth-finding mission is successful, something tells me we’ll find out why Trump & his party went to such great lengths in hiding the worst of the criminal evidence.
But make no mistake, what the House committees already uncovered during the autumn witness testimonies was proof of illegal actions by bribing a foreign power to dig up dirt on their political opponent. So not only was impeachment warranted, but Trump’s crimes were the very definition of what our founders were most worried about which inspired the impeachment provisions in the Constitution. And when they described high crimes & misdemeanors, by comparison Nixon’s Watergate was more the misdemeanor relative to the high crimes from the Ukraine scandal. Removal from office for the current prez would otherwise be a foregone conclusion if not for the echo-media & the president’s own party that turned into a cult. So Trump & his supporters no longer operate by the truth & the law, but have carved out their own fictional universe where they play only by their own corrupt rules.
Due to Trump’s unprecedented obstruction, there are still many unanswered questions. The back & forth with grim reaper Mitch McConnell will depend on getting at least 4 GOP Senators wanting to hear the facts & call those important direct witnesses among Trump’s staff. The American people outside Trump’s hardcore base also want to hear from those witnesses, so the more of us who demand the truth, the more pressure will be on GOP Senators to capitulate on bringing in witnesses. That’s why it’s important for us as Americans to spread the word to our fellow Americans, raising public support for revealing the facts. Many of us have often been cautioned don’t discuss politics with others, but those rules don’t apply when forces of deception & corruption put our democracy at risk. And rather than getting into contentious arguments, simply share sources like this blog address which provide tons of links to factual & pertinent news articles.

A Strategic Delay
With a solid majority in polls saying they want the key witnesses among Trump’s aides to testify in the Senate trial, it strengthens the Dem’s hand. The House does have the sole power to impeach so they can call the shots. The GOP jury foreman & several jurors admitted in advance the trial would be rigged by them, so House Dems are entirely justified in not sending the case onto the Senate until they get assurances the process will be fair. If we really want to learn all the facts, the necessary documents & witnesses should come forward as the American people wish. That the GOP wants to hide & rush through a sham trial, we can only assume they know their leader is guilty & seek to hide his guilt.
If witnesses are called, they must be directly relevant to the case & only the ones with direct knowledge of Trump’s dealings about Ukraine, not motivated by a wild goose chase based on debunked conspiracy theories. Much of the garbage heard on the right-wing media echo is preposterous propaganda emanating from the Kremlin to advance Russian interests, which cannot become part of turning the Senate trial into an irrelevant sideshow charade. Plus we’ve gone way beyond the whistleblower, since his/her claims were verified by numerous witnesses weeks ago.
These articles below reveal the intense negotiations & gamesmanship in Congress that will spill over into 2020. Also looking big picture even beyond this impeachment saga, when Trump has been orchestrating his personal American gestapo with a corrupt AG, increasingly corrupt courts, sycophant echo-media, plus the grim-reaper Moscow Mitch & the rest of his compliant Congress members, we find our democracy is increasingly hanging by a thread. It raises the stakes on removing this monster in the White House ASAP:

Putin’s Puppet
As our president has apparently been compromised by the Kremlin, the echo has been compromised by Trump, while the Trumpeter base has been deceived by the echo, who in turn support Trump & Russian policies. It’s a vicious circle based on tribal derangements which are decidedly antithetical to American interests & values. As long as we endure this American presidency advancing Russian disinformation which has no connection with reality, Putin’s puppet will be putty in his hands as they team up to form a destructive force against our nation.
Behind the scenes in the Kremlin, word is reportedly circulating that Putin considers this propaganda assault against the United States as the most successful covert operation in Russian history. It’s sowed disinformation & division throughout our land on a massive scale. These articles indicate the echo suspicion that falsely accuses Ukraine of interfering in our 2016 election likely originated with Putin, so a compliant Trump was more than happy to spread his friend’s conspiracy which helped absolve Russia in the 2016 collusion scheme:
