He’s Far Worse!…We’ve seen enough proof to know President Trump is guilty of serious crimes. Soliciting/coercing foreign help to taint an American election in your favor is an illegal act going way, way, way beyond the relatively simple infractions from the Watergate break-in. And there are no signs Nixon was directly involved in the crime itself, unlike Trump directly orchestrating the crimes involving Ukraine. Such a criminal cannot be given a pass & allowed to stay in office, unless Americans really prefer turning our Constitution into toilet paper, as keeping Trump around would be setting a dangerous example. Democracy is doomed when a society becomes accepting of such lawlessness from top leadership.
Nixon would have easily survived Watergate had the echo-media existed back then, especially with his wrongdoings so minor compared to Trump’s international crime wave. Just pause to again consider the level of proportion, a couple bungling burglars in the early 1970’s committing a two-bit break-in into DNC headquarters, compared to a current president co-opting many of his top staff to exert their influence on foreign help for interfering & discrediting our elections: https://www.yahoo.com/news/ trump-not-cover-crime- 091155175.html. Among the details revealed this week proving a quid pro quo, Ukraine did feel pressured by Trump & his cronies to play ball on conducting probes into those nutty conspiracies, or else America was withholding the promised & badly needed military aid Ukraine was dependent upon.
Trump’s July conversation with the Ukrainian president was the “perfect call” for getting himself removed from office. Our current prez is the poster boy for exactly the type of renegade leader our founding fathers were worried about when they wrote the Constitution. The Nixon presidency was brought down by articles of impeachment featuring abuse of power, obstruction of justice & contempt of Congress, which Trump did all those things at a much higher level & then some. Impeachment & conviction in Congress would already be a foregone conclusion, had the echo not been so vociferous in defending the prez by persuading the GOP base to believe in a whole lot of awful things they shouldn’t have bought into & would’ve never accepted just a decade or two ago. And GOP voters’ stubborn support of Trump has GOP politicians cowering like lemmings.
There are so many crimes coming out of these congressional testimonies exposing Trump’s vast criminal enterprise, the challenge for the sake of speed is to narrow it all down to the most important & easily explainable ones. House Dems have already determined their articles of impeachment will fall under the umbrella of abuse of power. We already have proof of the core crimes involving collusion & a quid pro quo (including Trump’s own confession), but as more evidence comes out of this series of congressional hearings, it will surely keep corroborating what we already know & reveal any additional crimes surrounding this Ukraine scandal. But the die is already cast as during this consequential past month, the widespread illegal conduct headed up by the mob boss & his unethical puppets have seen them finally getting caught!
There are tons of articles pulled from the newsfeeds the past few days in Parts 1, 2 & 3, which stem from the fact this is the biggest political news scandal of our time. Ambassador Taylor’s Bombshell Testimony
Yes, that’s when we discovered beyond refute a quid pro quo was demanded by Trump & his co-conspirators, which Taylor’s account is being corroborated daily by other witnesses:
All the President’s Men
Being immersed in corruption & chaos, those inside players in his administration are either going to turn on him or go down with the ship:
Battle Over Taxes
Expect numerous crimes inside those returns if they ever get released:
Judge Rules Impeachment Inquiry is Legit & Congress Entitled to See Secret Mueller Probe Findings
This could put the Russian scandal back on the table, reviving those criminal activities similar to the collusion Trump sought with Ukraine. If this decision as anticipated is appealed to the Supreme Court, should the justices take up the case, will they abide by the constitutional rule of law or can the president’s stacked court capitulate to authoritarian fascism? Preserving our democracy or not for decades to come may be determined by what happens in the next few months:
Lawyers Argue in Court to Legalize Murder
Interesting defense offered up here from Trump’s legal team. His lawyers had the gall to argue before a real judge in a real courtroom that our prez really could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue, & the law couldn’t touch him:
Aftereffects of a Senseless, Tragic Decision
Of course Turkey just agreed to a permanent ceasefire. They already picked Trump’s pocket, getting everything they wanted from him including having sanctions lifted without giving up anything in return. And control in that region has been given over to Turkey, Russia & Iran, since America has stepped aside & relinquished their leadership authority, while badly tarnishing the U.S. reputation throughout the world. Tragically, our Kurd allies who did the bulk of the fighting & shed a lot of blood to defeat ISIS, Trump stabbed them in the back & they have no place to run. Trump’s original agreement (actually capitulation) with Turkey was not just a heartless betrayal of a key ally, it was flat-out ignorant. That region has become destabilized & it’s made the world going forward a far more dangerous place:
A Feather in His Cap
This morning was a rare positive during the Trump tenure. Doing in a brutal terrorist thug leader is always good news, even if it’s more a symbolic victory, but certainly not on the same level as the significance of the Bin Laden raid (the one orchestrating the 9-11 terror murdering thousands of Americans): https://www.mediaite.com/tv/ trump-compares-al-baghdadi- bin-laden-at-presser-osama- bin-laden-was-big-but-this-is- the-biggest-there-is/. The assignment our special force commandoes just carried out was performed flawlessly as these heroes bravely conducted a difficult mission in hostile territory. Good things can happen when Trump actually listens to his military intelligence experts. The ISIS leader had reportedly been injured in an air raid a few years ago & went into hiding since, but still served as the strategic & inspirational head of the terror group.
This American success mission helps our prez temporarily save face for his blundering Syria pullout, plus provided him a badly needed diversion from the Ukraine story. It’s open speculation whether Trump timed the raid to bump the quid pro quo headlines off the Sunday morning talk shows: https://thehill.com/homenews/ sunday-talk-shows/467635- sunday-shows-isis-leaders- death-dominates. So his motives can be questioned & whenever Trump feels cornered he may lash out with other daring missions, but can they always end so well? It was also rather curious the prez praised his dictator buddies in Syria, Turkey & Russia over the important contributions from the Kurds. Naturally, Trump embellishes & exaggerates these moments while disclosing too many operational details, plus from an optics standpoint he focused too much on the oil. But here are today’s headlines & it is indeed good news:
