Political Blog Loved By Left But Ignored By Right

Evil-Echo Empire Update

As a political blog, I try appealing to a conservative audience who has lost their way from being dragged away to the right by the echo, but they seem offended by a narrative running so contrary to the extremist media sources they’ve gotten hooked on.  So instead, it’s the progressive, left audience who are most drawn to my commentary, which leaves me feeling like a center-right moderate preaching to a leftwing choir.  The purpose of my rants & numerous related articles is to drag conservatism back to rationality & ultimately fix the GOP, which becomes problematic when so much of the GOP base are so hardened in their fanaticism, so they flippantly dismiss my insights.  That’s too bad since it’s our country who is suffering.

Despite the blank-faced feigned confusion from the likes of Tucker Carlson on Fox over Flynn’s guilty plea & potential repercussions, of course, that deal with Mueller does not offer proof of the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia….YET!!!  Can’t these clowns infected with their numbskullian condition realize such a plea deal opens the way towards exposing collusion existed?  The deal just went down & Flynn’s flipping on Trump has probably just begun, with the actual evidence being revealed behind closed doors with the tight-lipped Mueller team.  So Mueller isn’t disclosing what he knows yet.  But the circumstantial corroborating evidence of collusion is overwhelming & when a central player like Flynn agrees to come clean, the investigators can really get to the bottom of what actually happened.  We’ll know soon enough & echo-land will be shocked!  Maybe then they’ll finally believe my political blog.

So while we in the public only know a small fraction of the overall story so far, what we do know indicates a high likelihood Trump himself will be tied to collusion, while evidence of obstruction against the prez is already fairly well established.  So the signs of criminal activity are oozing all throughout this Russian case, which the echo-crowd would be wise to patiently wait & see what the investigations uncover now that some of the felons who’ve already been charged are spilling the beans.  And yes, a president can be guilty of obstruction, & yes, collusion is not by itself an impeachable offense, but can help make a case for conspiracy.  I do believe when the time comes, everyone will be surprised at the various things they get Trump on, & the large number of acquaintances in his circus sphere who also get caught up in this, including congressmen, donors & echo-hosts.

This Flynn copping a plea headline was big enough news that not even Fox fake-news could avoid it, try as they might.  But even as they cover this scandal that may indeed grow to be the biggest political news story of our time, Fox & the rest of the echo twist & distort the significance of the story beyond recognition, doing a great disservice to their audiences.  They need to lie as much as the administration does in brushing off or diverting away from this major scandal.  By reporting the news with their extremist propaganda slant rather than sticking to some facsimile of the truth, the echo is doing great damage to America by duping & misinforming millions.  There are days Fox barely touches on the real news.  But as the scandal heats up, the news coverage across the ideological spectrum is now a mere pittance compared to what is coming.

Many in that echo-crowd have been shown willing to swallow almost anything no matter how concocted or exaggerated.  Their chosen messaging sources don’t present real conservatism but a distorted bastardization of it.  The term echo I use is short for the conservative media echo-chamber, but I’m very repulsed their crazy rhetoric would even be considered conservative.  Real conservatism could never be so far out on the radical right.  The more the GOP base fall for those twisted & duplicitous delusions promoting their tribal allegiances rather than pursuing an understanding of reality, the more our nation risks falling into fascism by elevating a dangerous authoritarian demagogue.  Controlling the messaging & promoting slick propaganda so the masses believe the lies give license to a dictator.

And in providing cover for this wanna-be dictator, the echo knows (& tries to conceal) how serious the Russian scandal is becoming since it could soon cause their hero to come crashing down.  When proof of collusion & obstruction become irrefutable, even for the mesmerized echo-crowd it would start to sound hollow to blame everything on Obama & Hillary.  That’s always been their fallback position, plus blaming the media.  But the echo will keep trying to pull rabbits out of hats while doing everything possible to stop the probe, be it trying to discredit Mueller or encouraging Congress to stop funding his investigation.  It matters little how ridiculous or implausible their silly diversions are, they’ll do anything to distract, discredit or ignore the Russian scandal.  Their gig is soon to be up.

So the investigations will proceed to their conclusions since the American people need to learn the truth.  If Trump were really innocent, he & his echo would welcome unveiling the facts so the prez could be vindicated, but they keep trying to block & stop finding the facts because they know the proof of guilt is imminent & inevitable.  And they keep lying over & over.  But until those conclusions are reached, patriotic Americans need to fight back against the enemies in our midst, since the dangerous consequences of echo rhetoric & their followers’ unconditional allegiance are really un-American as they relentlessly fight to in effect take down our constitutional democracy.  If they think a prez should get away with criminal activity so egregious as colluding with a foreign adversary to taint an election, such demented thinking is inexcusable, so anyone who believes an American president should receive such a pass should be considered by definition enemies to America.  And our nation could never afford to enable a lawless president.

As for the related articles, we start with Trump’s craziness where he does get away with an enormous amount of lies, but he actually threw out the trial balloon it wasn’t really him on the Access Hollywood tape.  Billy Bush helps to set him straight.  Also, the article, Trump is waging war on reality is pretty good.  The next section offers the craziness of Fox, where the corporate culture not only for years supported sexual harassment, but their continuing motto is no lie is ever a lie when it supports their extreme agenda.  Hannity, Carlson & Fox & Friends are always given plenty of space with their obvious conniving duplicity, but to think there was once a time I actually respected Lou Dobbs, but come to find out he’s a chucklehead almost as certifiably loony as Hannity.  Then we have the alt-right craziness which routinely features the likes of Alex Jones.  The echo & alt-right are related & all part of the same monster of deception.

Under the section below Dangerous Nationalistic/Totalitarian Rhetoric, we see in the Think Progress link how Trump’s reckless rants have sparked hatred in unstable Third World governments, to where his inspiration cause them to justify slaughtering their own people.  In the next Guardian article, a Holocaust survivor is shocked by the neo-Nazi animal spirits Trump’s hate speech has unleashed, comparing it to 1930’s Germany.  The next one is a Foreign Policy article with the headline, This is how every genocide begins, referring to Trump’s retweeting of anti-Muslim propaganda videos, which these two paragraphs contained within the text offer this dire warning:

Some of the greatest crimes in human history have begun with moments like this one. Social scientists agree that attacks on an entire class of people — whether identified by their race, religion, education, or any other distinguishing characteristic — do not happen spontaneously. First the mob has to be primed. The targeted group has to be demonized through a campaign of hateful misinformation, always presented as legitimate information by people in positions of trust. Then the signal for violence falls on ready ears.

It happened this way in Germany, Cambodia, Rwanda, and countless other sites of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and mass persecution. The pamphlets, megaphones, and radio broadcasts came before the pogroms, murders, and forced relocations. And today, we have even more effective ways to reach millions of people at a time, as the president’s more than 43 million followers on Twitter can attest; the established media only magnify his reach.  But could another crime on this scale happen here?

Under the moral degenerates category, there’s an article about the overwhelming support Judge Moore has among white evangelicals in Alabama, again showing the huge slippage among that demographic in their moral principles, virtually giving up any pretense of moral authority.  Ultimately, it may be far more important to fix the faith than it is to fix the GOP, which both are vitally important.  The GOP base from polling overwhelmingly do not believe the sexual abuse allegations against Moore, showing the same kinds of self-delusion that caused them to give a pass to Trump’s abhorrent behavior, & has also prompted Trump to officially endorse a pedophile.  Considering the abuse two dozen women allegedly endured at the hands of Moore & Trump, they have no business being public servants.  In fact, merely losing their jobs are probably too good for them!  The Salon article, Roy Moore, the Federalist and the decay of the conservative mind, with a paragraph below exposing a stunning stat about how many white evangelicals have given themselves over to a mindset of immorality (further evidence it seems those formerly “values voters” willingly gave up their values):

After years of conservatives claiming to denounce “moral relativism” and stating that the personal conduct of public officials had an impact on their fitness for office, all of the posturing has gone out the window in the name of political power. In 2011, just 30 percent of white evangelicals believed that personal morality was irrelevant to public service. In October of 2016, with Trump as the Republican presidential nominee, 72 percent shared that opinion.

But in the next article from Vox, a Christian with values was interviewed & offers a much kinder assessment of some of his Christian brethren compared to my speculation they’ve been given over to a deceptive spirit.  In the excerpts below he simply calls some of them “idiots.”  And when recognized evangelical leaders like Franklin Graham, James Dobson & Jerry Falwell Jr. sell out to radicalized far-right politics & excuse sexual abuse, it mainly serves to undermine the faith (please realize even renowned faith leaders with legacy names can still be deceived).  To ever hope for revival or even saving the evangelical faith will require new international leadership & an intervention from God.

As a Christian & pro-life social conservative, it baffles me no end how so many in the faith are so partisanly against LGBT rights & gay marriage enough to even become accepting of sexual assault.  The outside world increasingly sees our religion being full of cult-like fanatics aligning with extremist politics, marked by rank hypocrisy in pursuit of worldly power.  It does NOT view us as following the example of Christ, which mostly defeats the whole purpose of the faith.  I don’t want to be seen as attacking the evangelical church, but rather sounding the alarms many in the faith need to get back to aligning with God’s will & his greater purpose.  These 3 paragraphs are most perceptive even if it ruffles some feathers:

I think that sincerely religious people can be deceived. I think they can be idiots, and I think they can be wrongheaded. What we’re talking about right now is the great threat to the religious right, which is that people look at them and say, “Well, you guys are frauds.” Because I’m a Christian, I’m able to say that Christian people can be idiots. They can be racist and still be sincere about their religion. They can be deceived in an election and still be sincere about their religion.

It’s not fair to say that their religion is entirely false, but I certainly can understand that charge. I just don’t think it’s the case in most situations here. Franklin Graham is not a fraud as a Christian. James Dobson is not a fraud as a Christian. They can have moments of idiocy. They can be people who are deceived by a strong personality or get caught up in their fears and terror of Obama and Hillary.

But I also think they recognize that there are pro-life Democrats, that Democrats may be closer to the teachings of Jesus when it comes to the poor. So perhaps they’ll want to be in the middle and be able to choose and not just reflexively pull a switch for Republicans.

So overall in concluding this echo section, that crowd is being badly deceived by the evil messaging sources.  I’d ordinarily say let them simmer in their own toxic stew, but they are voters & as they’re screwing up the GOP, they’re also screwing up America with their impractical/unworkable far-right agenda.  The echo has turned the GOP into an evil force that needs cleaning up.  We can all play a part countering the nonsense by spreading the voice of reason & common sense.  Those you personally know who are watchers of Fox or listeners to conservative radio, chances are arguing or rationalizing with them is like talking to the wall.  The easiest strategy is to simply ask they review this political blog, The Voracs, & then let you know what they think.  Normally there are updates twice/week, with part 1 on Trump/Russia, part 2 the echo & part 3 the economy.  So you can direct them to one or all.  Also please pass on to moderates & liberals so they can likewise share with their Fox-head friends.  They can thank you later (should they ever happen to see the light).
