The Trump Putin Alliance Becomes Clearer

Trumpeters & the Echo-Crowd getting worried yet?

Plenty of new revelations lately on the scandal!  The picture is getting clearer by the day, where the apparent deal from the campaign was Russia helping Trump with his presidential campaign in exchange for lifting sanctions on Russia when Trump takes power.  It’s just a matter of proving it.  And the evidence needs to be solid, since removing a president is not just a legal issue, but a political one.  With the GOP holding majorities in Congress, the proof of illegalities must be compelling enough to convince much of the GOP base, so Congress can do the right thing in forcing out a corrupt president without a big risk of them personally paying a political price.  But look at the direction the investigations are moving, as rock-solid proof may be just around the corner.

From the news articles in the links below, there have been lots of revelations the past few days in helping clarify what happened between the Trump campaign & Russians.  Financial ties appear to be a big part of the equation.  Mueller has subpoenaed Trump’s financial records from Deutsche Bank where the word is he was given substantial loans.  As the Watergate prosecutors were correctly advised nearly 45 years ago, they should follow the money & it can lead a path to the illegal activities.  Could be a potential money laundering case, or we might discover German & Russian banks literally own Trump.  Late word has Mueller obtaining 100’s of 1000’s of financial records from Manafort’s world.  The reason Trump originally warned Mueller that looking into his finances would be crossing a line, is because he knew bad things would be found there.

In another group of articles, a Flynn associate now turned whistleblower is providing plenty of dirt to Mueller, including how Flynn was texting his Russian partners during Trump’s inauguration speech that those sanctions would be scrapped right away.  It just goes to show the collusion with Russia was coordinated prior to Trump becoming president. The deal Flynn struck with Russia also reportedly dealt with building nuclear power plants in the Middle East.  As an article below speculates, with Flynn’s plea deal requiring he spill the beans to Mueller, his central involvement in the Russian caper can implicate many others participating & result in a whole lot of people heading to jail.

Not to be outdone, sonny-boy Donny Jr. jumped into the fray with making numerous headlines of his own.  New info has come out that there were follow up emails between Donny Jr. & the Russians after their now-infamous June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower.  It is abundantly clear Jr. joined in on a deal with the Russians to release the dirt on Hillary, which he is now obviously hiding the details.  We’ve also found out a couple months before the election both father & son, along with others among the campaign staff, received an email with access to the WikiLeaks documents complete with a decryption key.  WikiLeaks was Russia’s messenger. The plot thickens.  No wonder Trump Putin are best buds.  They probably had this deal planned all along.

Jr. also just had a stressful & damaging day.  That he was hiding details about his Russian connections & motives became abundantly obvious when this week an all-day grilling in front of the House intelligence committee resulted in an amazing amount of forgetfulness.  It was accompanied by a confounding claim of attorney-client privilege, giving him an excuse to not disclose the conversations he had with daddy about the Trump Tower meeting.  Donny Jr. did admit he discussed those details with Hope Hicks, current White House communications director, which really puts her on the spot since she’s scheduled to be interviewed by Mueller any day now.  With the House investigations not using subpoena power & the GOP reps on that committee trying to whitewash this entire probe, it’s going to take a Mueller subpoena to get Jr. to talk.  But the evidence we have recently discovered & the way sonny-boy is hiding something really bad, he clearly had intent to team up with the Russians in digging up & making public during the campaign info damaging to Hillary.  So all the echo-honking about their ridiculous claim there’s no evidence of collusion is just bunk.

Other Russian news reports include Erik Prince‘s testimony adding pieces to the jigsaw puzzle, plus Manafort’s cohort Rick Gates looks to be in line for more charges filed against him.  Mueller probably wants him to flip.  Also, expect more indictments to soon be coming against others in Trump’s circle.  It’s looking to become a free-for-all where it’s every person for themselves, that anyone with an involvement in the Russian scandal had better save their own hide & play ball with the prosecutors by telling them what they know, ensuring they get a sweet plea deal to shorten or eliminate potential prison sentences.  Those in a lower position willing to rat on a higher up, Mueller may be open to cutting a deal.  The heat has really been turned up & the way the evidence is evolving, it looks as though obstruction is a virtual certainty against Trump & some of his staff, with conspiracy very likely & even treason is now a very real possibility.  And the price tag on Mueller’s investigation so far has only been $7 million, a bargain for saving democracy.  With his high-priced investigators & prosecutors, I would have thought it’d be far higher by now.  Trump’s golfing trips this year have cost 10x that much.

In the above the law links below, could this be Trump’s opening salvo in planting the seeds for his version of the Third Reich & Gestapo?  Yes, this is America, & yes, there are reports the prez wants to set up a secret spy network as any ruthless dictator is prone to do.  He’s already declared war & trying to discredit the intelligence & justice depts, courts & media, while also propping up his state-run media in the echo.  So he’s following a playbook used by successful tyrants in the past.  It’s easy to see the Trump Putin bond, since Trump aspires to likewise become a strong-armed dictator just like his idol.  Right Turn’s Rubin in her op-ed on Trump’s latest attack on the rule of law, she concludes with this ominous warning which should give us all pause:

Moving on down the links, the prez seems determined to light fires throughout the world, especially Asia & the Middle East.  Plus he’s ticking off Europe.  The Jerusalem recognition as the Israeli capital is reckless & undermines our authority as an honest broker for a peace deal.  Coming on the heels of last week’s ill-begotten anti-Muslim video, Trump seems bound & determined to turn the anger of a billion Muslims all on us, enough so the entire Islam world may be tempted to declare jihad holy war.  We also see other articles below where Trump is irretrievably damaging our relationships with important allies.  We also see heightened concerns about Trump himself.  His slurring of his words concluding a recent speech again raises questions about his mental fitness, with other speculation the cause may have come from drug use, loose dentures, cottonmouth, stress/fatigue or a mini-stroke.  To wrap things up, the latest polling shows another record low approval rating for Trump, nearly rivaling the Nixon levels just prior to his resignation.  As they say, history often repeats itself.

I don’t always agree with the Kos.  But I include for the sake of Cubs fan & all similarly-minded far-right echo adherents.  That crowd sees these articles as extreme, not realizing they’re not nearly as extreme as the psycho-conservative media they place all their trust in.  So whether the topic is on Russia, taxes, sexual abuse or family values, if we were to look back at these op-eds six months from now & compare to current echo-stories, I’m very confident the Kos would actually prove to be far more accurate.  It’s a crying shame the echo-crowd remain sequestered inside their alternative-facts bubble.  What they hear is a badly twisted distortion of reality.
